BCCI is all set to throw a grand farewell for Sachin Tendulkar as it has now confirmed that the master-blaster will be playing his last and the 200th Test match on his home ground in Mumbai.
Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium will be hosting the farewell Test for Sachin Tendulkar after the legendary batsman expressed a wish to play his landmark 200th match against the West Indies next month in front of his home crowd.
The BCCI has confirmed the venues for upcoming West Indies series and has chosen Eden Gardens and Wankhede Stadium for the two Tests.
West Indies will be in India for a short tour to play in two Tests and three ODIs beginning 6th November.
Tendulkar’s 199th game will be in Kolkata while he will don the whites for the national team one last time in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
The BCCI is planning a grand farewell for Tendulkar.
Last week Tendulkar announced that his 200th Test against West Indies will be the last time he represents India in an international match as he has decided to call it a day.
