Sachin Tendulkar delighted fans across the world during his illustrious international career, and India’s Network 18 group on March 2, 2014, unveiled a monument - standing more than 25 feet high and weighing over two tonnes - in Mumbai.
Standing more than 25 feet high and weighing over two tones, the gigantic steel monument was unveiled by the Master Blaster himself, and has been installed on the Carter Road Promenade - close to Tendulkar's residence.
Sachin's emotional farewell speech that brought the nation to tears has also been etched on a plaque below the installation.
The monument is tribute to the cricket legend by a media group.
