India-Pakistan Test series likely in 2015

The Pakistan Cricket Board is expecting to play at least six home and away Test series against India in the next eight-year FTP cycle between 2015 and 2023 which will also include an "off-shore" home series in the United Arab Emirates.

The Pakistan Cricket Board approved to refurbish the test format between India and Pakistan, but they put the stipulation that they will be the part of the bilateral series in opposing to all the members of the International Cricket Council.

By this agreement, PCB generates the amount of 30 billion, which is near about the 310 million U.S dollars over the next eight years if the ICC approves the agreement. Moreover, if this proposal is rejected, it might be seems that the PCB will be bankrupt in two years and this was claimed by the Sethi in the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore in a press conference.

Sethi said that the decision is made by focusing on the position of the board after sagacity seclusion. To avoid this, the PCB must stay on schedule and they must play a home series in opposing to the Indians as it is the board which generates the most money in all over the boards and of the series in opposing to the India, Pakistan also generates lots of money.

As the infrastructure of the cricket based on the money so it is the requirement of the time and the PCB. The PCB must engage in the bilateral series and they must play the cricket and not to sit like a viewer. Sethi also highlights this point that the world governing board must ask the PCB when they nominate the member from the PCB for the ceremonial role in the ICC President of the next year.

When the decision of the big three was taken by the ICC, then the four boards that are BCCI, PCB, CSA and SLC refused to approve this and they start to deny it. But the proposal has been revised and then it was approved by the full 8 members of the International Cricket Council on February 8, 2014, but the two boards till refuse to accept it and they denied from voting in that very meeting and the Sri Lanka Cricket Board extend the support to the refurbish for 10 days later.

After this no one discusses about the bilateral series with Pakistan and everyone focuses the bilateral series in opposing to the other members except the Pakistan. Since the last July 2013, Pakistan makes no deal in long term broadcasting as this is the major source for the Pakistan Cricket Board. By this the Pakistan faces the discrepancy of nearly about 500 million Pakistani rupees.

But by the present proposal, the stability of the board seems to be sustained and by the long-term deal the amount of 30 billion U.S dollars will be assured for the next eight year cycle. By the broadcasting rights the PCB will get the share of the ICC tournament is off 1.3 percent and now they have the 0.3 means the share percentage will increase by the 1.00 percent and it is the good news for Pakistan cricket.
