Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bat at the Old Trafford cricket ground in Manchester. India are unchanged for this game. West Indies meanwhile, have brought in Sunil Ambris and Fabian Allen for Evin Lewis and Ashley Nurse. The pitch is likely to be good to bat on but will also assist the spinners which is why both teams have two spinners each in their lineup. The two teams come into the fixture on the back of contrasting fortunes. While Virat Kohli's India are the only unbeaten side in the tournament, West Indies have only enjoyed a victory in one match when they defeated Pakistan in their opener. West Indies desperately need to win this match in order to remain in contention for the semi-finals.
The teams are as follows...
India (Playing XI):
Lokesh Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli(c), Vijay Shankar, MS Dhoni(w), Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah
West Indies (Playing XI):
Chris Gayle, Sunil Ambris, Shai Hope(w), Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Holder(c), Carlos Brathwaite, Fabian Allen, Kemar Roach, Sheldon Cottrell, Oshane Thomas
